What is Intelligent Ally?
Transvault Intelligent Ally is an enterprise-grade AI governance and compliance solution that captures, secures, and archives interactions between users and generative AI chatbots: such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Gemini.
It provides organisations with visibility, control, and defensible records of AI usage, ensuring that prompts and responses are securely captured and stored in trusted archive platforms like Microsoft 365 and Enterprise Vault with an important new enhancement:
Active Directory (AD) Group Selection: organisations can now target capture to specific user groups, ensuring compliance where it matters most without over-collection of data.
Configurable Retention Policies: Intelligent Ally V1 introduces a blanket retention setting within the Ally database itself. This allows organisations to define how long AI prompt and response data should be retained.
Chatbot Access Control: Allows the organisation to block any chatbot that is not approved.
Integration with Microsoft 365
A major new enhancement enables seamless migration of AI interactions into Microsoft 365 mailboxes. With this integration, Intelligent Ally can:
- Send captured AI data directly into a Migrator queue
- Migrate that data into a target M365 mailbox
- Support Auto-Rollover, automatically moving to a new mailbox when capacity is reached
This ensures organisations can manage large-scale AI usage without the risk of mailbox capacity issues. Future updates will bring Auto-Rollover configuration directly into Intelligent Ally itself.
