CloudStream Accelerates Ingestion Speeds to Office 365

New performance technology lets Transvault Partners shrink cloud on-boarding times for their customers.

[Clevedon, United Kingdom – June 25, 2015] – Transvault, the leading developer of email archive migration solutions, strengthens its leadership position with the release of Transvault CloudStream, a ground-breaking feature designed to deliver optimum ingestion speeds into Microsoft Office 365.

When an enterprise customer makes a decision to switch their email service to the cloud, chances are they have a considerable amount of data stored either in PST files, or in third-party email archives – all of which will have to be migrated. This makes cloud upload speeds a critical factor for many customers when they come to select a migration solution.

According to Barney Haye, chief executive officer at Transvault, “Transvault CloudStream is a culmination of many years helping our partners navigate some of the most complex and arduous email archive migrations. By combining the very latest Microsoft ingestion technologies with our own sophisticated algorithms, such as traffic flow analysis, our partners can now guarantee unrivalled ingestion speeds!”

Transvault CloudStream is just one of several new Office 365-centric services that have been added to the latest versions of Transvault Migrator and Sprint, with other enhancements including being first to get certified by Microsoft to work with its new PST drive shipping service.  Transvault CloudStream now offers customers the option of a high-speed end-to-end transfer service that delivers complete chain-of-custody and in-line shortcut handling as their archived data travels from on-premises into Office 365.

“For years we have trusted Transvault for migrating critical data from legacy archives,” said Sam Elbeck, vice president of business development and client services from Globanet.  “The addition of Transvault’s CloudStream service to their reliable Migrator and Sprint solutions provides Globanet another valuable tool to deliver our clients peak ingestion speeds without compromising data accuracy or performance.”

Concluded Haye, “Raw speed is not enough for most customers – especially their legal departments.  That’s why we’ve coupled CloudStream with our own end-to-end transactional approach and data integrity checks to ensure our partners can offer their customers the benefit of tremendous data accuracy and full chain-of-custody as their data is migrated”.
