EMC EmailXtender to SourceOne Upgrades

Available from selected TransVault partners who specialise in EMC technologies, TransVault Migrator for EMC SourceOne is a high-performance software application that forms the core of migrations from a wide range of commonly-used email archives into EMC SourceOne Email Archive.

Used in combination with the appropriate services to commission your new SourceOne archive and to project manage the migration, TransVault Migrator quickly and securely moves existing into EMC SourceOne.

  • One Step - Migration is done at the API level in a single, synchronous step, requiring no interim stage or interim storage that could lead to tampering or data loss.
  • Introduces Improved Single Instance – Data from the legacy archive is presented to the EMC SourceOne APIs allowing it to create full single instance storage and to minimise the quantity of data to be stored into the future.
  • Transparent to users - Users can access their data whilst it is being moved – there is no need to disable access to the archive.  Shortcuts are seamlessly converted to point to the new archive store, ensuring the upgrade process is completely transparent to end users.
  • Ensures Compliance - Throughout the migration process TransVault Migrator maintains a full audit trail to maintain chain-of-custody – this is an important consideration for compliant retention.
  • Automatic Failover & Logging - TransVault maintains a complete error log, with the ability to automatically resume a migration task that fails for any reason (e.g. owing to a network outage or a corrupted item).
